Have I Got a Story for You, a collection of stories and photos by award-winning journalist/songwriter/poet, Hope McLeod, depicts the hidden talent, boundless creativity and humble heroism of some special individuals living on the South Shore of Lake Superior. Previously published in the Bayfield County Journal from 2012-2017, these stories are newly edited and include extras, i.e., narratives, postscripts, and epilogue.
- Music featuring: Yazmin & Beat Zero—original songs with Afro Cuban rhythms; Liesel Wilson & Eira, Celtic music; and Frank Montano, Native American flute playing
Guest speakers Hope McLeod will read passages from her book and Meredith Metzler will share highlights from her P.H.D: The changing media
environment & its impact in small towns in the rural Midwest.
Story Displays including 20 info tables hosted by people in the book making a difference in the community –artists, sustainable farmers, non-profits, etc. Includes artwork, CDs, and value-added goods, and signed copies of Hope’s book for purchase.
